Concern Regarding Possible Code Violation – Mossdale Neighborhood

Dear City of Lathrop Code Enforcement,

I would like to report a concern in the Mossdale neighborhood, specifically on Pheasant Downs Road. I am requesting to remain anonymous. If you would like, I can get the exact address.

There appears to be a family living in a home’s garage, where they have set up what looks like a tent inside the garage space. I am unsure if this is permitted under city regulations, and I would appreciate clarification on whether this situation constitutes a violation.

Code Compliance Concern – Ongoing Vehicle Repairs and Oil Leakage in Residential Neighborhood

Dear Code Compliance Team,

I am writing to report a concern in my neighborhood regarding ongoing vehicle-related activity that appears to be in violation of Lathrop municipal code.

At a residence in my area, there are consistently multiple vehicles being worked on in open view, often in the driveway and street. This activity appears frequent and ongoing, resembling a mechanical operation rather than occasional personal vehicle maintenance.

Commercial truck on residential area

Hi, I would like to report a concern about a commercial truck being parked regularly in our residential neighborhood (corner of Bewick Dr and Osprey Dr).

This truck is very large and blocks visibility when turning, which can be unsafe for drivers, pedestrians, and kids in the area. It also takes up too much street space that is meant for residential parking.

We already tried to speak with the driver respectfully, but unfortunately nothing changed. It seems they will only respond if approached by proper authorities or uniform personnel.

Too much clutter front yard from neighbor

Good afternoon, I am sending this ticket in on behalf of the Mossdale community because there is a neighbor who has far too much clutter in their front yard that could be hazardous to their family and other neighbors. It can cause mice, or termites to come to our neighborhood, and it makes the neighborhood look bad. I have pictures and the address. Thank you for your time.
