My name is Casey England, I reside at 359 Americana Way. I was emailing to get clarification on cutting down some trees in front of our house. Would we need a permit to have it removed and do we need to replace the tree with another?

I would like to know if I can cut down the tree in front of my house by the sidewalk. The tree is becoming a nuisance due to its sticky sap that sticks to the car, sidewalks, and road.

I have a tree in front of my house. It has really bad tree sap and although I water the tree, the sap is getting worse daily. 

Can someone from the City of Lathrop help remove the tree? Or can me as the home owener remove the tree?

Please help and advise.
