Thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, the City of Lathrop does not accept owner surrenders. We recommend reaching out to family or friends who may be able to provide a home, posting on social media or community pet groups, and contacting local animal rescues or shelters that may have resources or placement options available. We understand this can be a difficult decision and appreciate you taking the time to find a responsible and caring solution for your dog.

Thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, we will not be able to trap and move wildlife, such as skunk, however, you may use humane methods to encourage the animal to leave the area — such as motion-activated lights, sprinklers, or placing ammonia-soaked rags near where the skunk has been seen.
We also recommend clearing any dense shrubs, removing garbage or debris, and avoid leaving pet food or other food sources outside, as these can attract wildlife.

Good day. We have our beautiful Pyrenees mix dog from Arizona, where we previously resided. We tried to balance with work and giving her time and attention, and we just can't sustain our responsibilities to our dog. Is it possible that I will respectfully surrender her? I appreciate your assistance.
