To Start Service

Residents may start service in person, by fax, or email.

A service deposit of $150 is required from all residents and is due at the time new service is activated.  Commercial accounts may be required to pay a higher deposit.  The service deposit is refundable during the following events:  1) after one (1) year of satisfactory account activity, or 2) upon service termination and applied to the closing bill remaining credit will be refunded.

The following documents are required to start service:

  1. Signed Utility Service Application
  2. Valid photo ID (driver's license, passport, state or military ID)
  3. Proof of ownership or signed rental/lease agreement

To Stop Service

Residents may stop service in person or by phone.

Service can be stopped the same day or at a future date by the person whose name appears on the account.  Water and wastewater service can be stopped Monday through Thursday during normal business hours. However, services are not stopped on Fridays.  A valid identification will be verified, and a new forwarding address is necessary.

If you are no longer living at the service address, it is your responsibility to let us know to stop service. Monthly service charges will continue to be billed on the account until it is closed.
