With all the marking up of the streets and sidewalks and the upcoming repairs that I understand are going to happen to the waterlines to the houses, it makes me think that if the waterlines are on the property, the homeowner is responsible for covering the cost of the repairs.
I'm sure there is something somewhere that has been drawn up that lets everyone concerned what their share of the repair cost is going to be.
Can you tell me how much of the repair cost I am going to be responsible for to cover the work in front of 707 J St.?
The reason I ask is because we are already being bombed by requests to sign up with insurance companies who specialize in covering cost of just such a thing.
How de we know if your going to be digging in our yards or not and weather the cost is going to be dropped in our laps or not?
Need to know if I need to purchase the extra insurance to cover expenses or not, and so far no one has said if the city is covering the cost or if the homeowner is going to have to foot the bill.
