There are tumbleweeds in front of my house. I live in the old part of town, so it would be where there would be a sidewalk (if we had sidewalks). I was told that they couldn't be removed because it is private property. However, my son used to park there and "THE CITY" told him he couldn't, thus it must be part of the city's responsibility to clean that area. It must not be private property if the city can dictate whether someone can park there or not. These tumbleweeds are huge and I cannot move them myself. They come from across the street, from over by the skatepark (which is owned by the city). I was told these tumbleweeds cannot be removed and I would have to call a landscaper. These are not my tumbleweeds. I am not paying for a landscaper. They are by the street in front of mine and my neighbors mailboxes. They are in the way of my view when I back out of my driveway, I am worried about an accident. And again the city is saying they can't remove them because it is on private property. However, you guys come out to pump out the driveway next to my house. My neighbor calls because they get alot of water at their house from the rain and the city comes out on a Saturday. They are pumping water that is on "PRIVATE PROPERTY". So I'm a little confused as to why the city can't remove the tumbleweeds. It isn't even private property its right on the edge of the road.
