To Whom It May Concern,
In the park strip in front of my home (17176 Rail Way), there is an existing tree that I have reason to believe was not the correct tree that was supposed to be installed there by the original developer (Woodside). My former neighbors (17198 Rail Way) had the exact same tree type installed in the parkstrip in front of their house and informed me that they reached out to the City about whether or not the tree was supposed to have been installed there. Apparently the City informed them that the tree was in fact not on the approved list and should not have been installed there to begin with. With that said, I am requesting that the City remove the existing tree in the park strip in front of my house ASAP. The roots from the tree have begun to raise ground in the park strip, and there is visual evidence of the sidewalk shifting in the immediate vicinity. In fact, you can see roots encroaching onto my property and my former neighbors going in the direction of where my onsite drainage outlet is. Please advise.
