Tesla in Lathrop never told the fire Dept about very serious instructions concerning very dangerous potential of injury or death to its employees. The plant manager Leo. He is an absolute idiot. There was a fire in castings...the fire dept arrived and was just about to turn there fire hose on. A enoyee stopped the fireman from turning the water hose on. THANK GOD..if water would have been used to put the fire out. Half the block would have blown up.. and certain death for many employees. How in the hell could this even happen. Why didn't the plant Manager inform the Manteca /Lathrop fire dept the day they decided to produce parts ? This man is still in charge in Lathrop . When I asked the safety manager about failed respirators and not having proper fire suppressant systems in house . I was told we dont have the money for it. Wow. What a awful work environment. Knowing Tesla's Lathrop Plant Manager could care less of his employee's safety. I've never seen anything like the tyrant style fake management. There are so many toxic chemicals being used in Lathrop. Employees being burned by splashing molten metal. Machinery that could kill operators. Why would Elon allow this slave style work environment to go on. We have contacted OSHA & Tesla corp. Safety manager. All employees were to attend a meeting with Ian ( Safety manager in Fremont ) . Leo the manager in Lathrops decides only 5 employees will attend 2 meetings. Wtf. It wasn't his meeting. Man this man needs to go. Remember he should have met with local fire dept. the day they first arrived in Lathrop to ensure proper fire suppression was understood. Look online and see what happens when water should enter the Molten Aluminum holding tanks or dip wells. Lathrop employees are in danger due to Leo's inept leadership.
