Hello, my name is Sally Jex and I live at 16120 Matador Way. For about a week now there has been a black Mustang parked right up to the edge of our driveway. It is a major nuisance to us because we are forced to put our garbage cans at the driveway entrance, thus blocking us in. If we put them on the street right behind the Mustang, they won't be picked up. It makes our next door neighbor appear as if they have 6 cans as opposed to the normal 2-3. There is the minor inconvenience of our guests having to park down the street, but mainly it's the blocking of our driveway by the garbage cans that's a problem. I wrote a note and put it on the Mustang's windshield explaining this and asking them to move, but it was ignored. We don't know who the car belongs to, either. Does the owner even live here?
It feels really stupid and immature to file a complaint about this, I'm sure you have better things to do, but I don't know how else to solve this problem. I looked up the municipal code and it says in section 10.24.020 A. that anything longer than 72 hours requires action, which is why I'm bringing this issue to your attention.
My family and I want to be good neighbors, but this neighbor isn't interested. Please come ticket or tow the vehicle as soon as possible, hopefully before next Tuesday night when we have to put out the garbage cans again.
