I recently received a citation notice from the City of Lathrop regarding my vehicle parked in front of my home and "over grown foliage." and I would like to know as to why I am just now receiving such citation. I have lived on this street & city for the last 17 years, since Stoneridge Community was created, and I have never received a complaint or citation from the City of Lathrop regarding my vehicle being parked in front of my own home. To note, I have been out of the country for the last 6 months due to the pandemic and shelter in place mandates that's currently in place.
I would like to request a meeting with the City of Lathrop Mayor in order to discuss these complaints. I am not the only person who received this type of citations on my street. I feel that I am being attacked because I and the other persons are POC.
I would also like to request records of all the "over grown foliage" citations that the City of Lathrop has given out for the last 5 years. I am confident that we are been racially targetted regarding these complaints and citations.
