Good afternoon,
Our family have purchased a home in the River Islands area of Lathrop. Our home is nearing completion and I would like to know when will the address for our home registered with the city and released to the post office?
The reason for the question is because appointments for utilities, such as internet service, cannot be made as the companies are not able to verify an address. I have spoken to a few neighbors, in the community that said that their homes were without mail service and/or internet and cable for up to a month because the address was not released/registered. I work from home and the children are in distance learning at RiTechA and so it is very important that I am able to obtain services as soon as we move in and so I would like to know, if the address can be registered/released before we have closed on the house. In addition, due to COVID, appointments are difficult to obtain.
Please let me know what steps need to take place and/or who I would bed to speak with for the release/registration of the address as my builder have expressed that they are not sure of the process or timeline.
