Hello,

I am reaching out to see if Code Compliance can assist or route me to the proper course of action to take in regards to a neighbor's Nest Camera that was installed extremely high, located on the backside of my neighbor's house and is aimed clearly towards my backyard. The nest camera is in a position that is overly high enough to see a large amount of my privately fenced backyard. His nest camera has both audio and visual recording and was not installed by a licensed professional. My cameras were installed by a legit legally reputable security company and does not invade our neighbor's privacy but only captures public property (street) and the front of my home. My neighbor's camera has a motion detector followed by a bright light which is extremely invasive to my family, guests and dogs that are using the backyard. He is the only neighbor who has a high enough camera in the outdoors that is visually invasive to anyone's backyard, specifically mine. I noticed my other neighbor's have installed their cameras low enough to only capture their personal backyards all the way up to the fence. This neighbor had a non-licensed person install his camera extremely high which blasts large amounts of light into my backyard (at night). I truly believe this is an invasion of privacy and is in violation as it captures and records audio and a large amount of my private backyard property. Is there any way you can intervene?
