Hello,
Can you please tell me how one gets a street or park named after him/her? I would like to request one named after my father.
My father is Parito Emata. He was one of Lathrop's first planning commissioners and worked alongside Lathrop's first mayor, Apolinar Sangalang. More importantly, however, is his greater contribution to Lathrop -- not only historically, but for many, many more years to come. You see my father created/designed The City of Lathrop's seal - the symbol seen on Lathrop's city limit sign, water bill, law enforcement vehicles, and so much more.
What's even more amazing about this is that my parents still live in Lathrop and I would love for my father to be recognized by way of having a street or park named after him -- any information on how to accomplish this would be very much appreciated.
