Since there is no one person that goes out and checks the city streets and such for violations, everything in this city is complaint driven,
There are two Silva Landscaping 15' - 20' utility trailers that have started being parked/stored on the street out in front of 710 J St. Not only does it make the street look run down and messy, it takes away valuable parking for regular cars, it is also a safety hazard, and unless things have changed over the years it is a city Code violation.
Why doesn't the code enforcement officer take at least one day a week to drive around the city and look for, and find, these code violations on their own as part of their job? (Just asking.)

Good afternoon
Thank you for bringing this to the city's attention. This ticket will be assigned to a Community Service Officer for follow up. We will reach out if we have any questions. Unfortunately we currently do not have the staffing to be proactively enforcing however we will respond to all complaints. In the future if you would like a quicker reponse, you can reach out to our Non-Emergency Dispatch line and an officer would be out there to inspect that day. Any questions please let us know. Thank you and have a good day.
