Dear City Department,
I write to express my deep concern about the ongoing noise disturbances in our neighborhood, specifically from a residence located at 16278 Prairie Fire Ct or the adjacent property.
This past weekend, the noise started on Saturday afternoon and continued until Sunday at 2:00 AM. I hoped for a quiet day on Sunday, only to be disappointed when the party resumed, waking me up at noon. I anticipate it will once again continue until the early hours of Monday. Being about 400 feet away from the source of the noise and bass, it's hard to convey just how loud and disruptive it is.
I respect and understand that weekends may be more lenient in terms of noise, with residents celebrating and hosting parties. For instance, my immediate neighbors occasionally play music and host BBQ parties, but they always conclude within a couple of hours. Once my windows are closed, their noise becomes virtually inaudible. However, the events at 16278 Prairie Fire Ct are on another level, showing a clear disregard for the peace and well-being of the neighborhood, and utilized bass as weapon to make 50 families in this neighborhood suffer until late night.
For someone like me, who works from home as an artist and game developer, such disturbances are not only disruptive but detrimental to my mental health. I long for the peaceful environment I once knew when we first moved here. My parents intend to live here indefinitely, and I've been considering purchasing a home nearby to be close to them. However, if these disturbances become a regular occurrence, I may need to rethink my decision even though it's not me and my family expected.
I wish the department to address this issue promptly and ensure that our community remains peaceful and conducive to all residents at needed rest time.
