I am writing to you today to ask the city for help with the restoration of 15460 5th Street,Lathrop, CA, This is one of the first homes in the city of Lathrop built in the 1940s.
The current owner is Bill Hubble and the resident is Pauline Luiz, His sister. Both are disabled, Pauline is almost severely disbaled and her husband just passed away. She is living of Social Security only and the house is falling apart.
I have tried to reach out to Habitat for Humanity but was told they are not accepting any names on the waitlist for a few years now. I have tried the go fund me and made enough just to buy them a Swamp Cooler for the window.
I am petitioning the city to please help restore and possible rebuild part of this home... it is almost unlivable and we have our hands tied. i appreciate your time reading this and you consideration.
