About 3-4 months ago our water bill came to be much higher than before and we were alerted of this situation by city hall. We hired a plumber for leak detection to come over and take a look around our house for leaks and none were found internally. We then had a suspicion then that the water sprinklers may be the cause. The next month after we tried to lower the water usage, however the bill was still abnormally high. Now we are manually watering our plants and have diverted our efforts into using even less water. 

I have a strong suspicion that my water meter is malfunctioning and overestimating my water usage. I request to kindly evaluate my meter or replace it, unless there is another way to detect its malfunction.
