I am writing with a suggestion to paint the curb area on the West side of between Fire Station 31 at 800 J St. and the driveway of 710 J St. RED and turn it into a no parking zone. The driveway for the fire department is at such a steep angle that when the fire trucks go up and down the driveway they need to be at an angle so as not to drag the rear of the trucks and with cars parking in that little curb area, just barely large enough for a small car or truck, it makes it rough on the firemen trying to enter the driveway. If the curb was painter RED and no cars could park there it would be easier for the trucks to go in and out the West side driveway. Just a suggestion to make it easier for the fire department and city vehicles.
