Today, Code compliance officer James Hood followed one of my employees into our property unannounced. We have an electric gate and opens and shuts behind us. The car is unmarked and the gentlemen startled our staff person when approached after getting our of his car and NOT wearing a mask. Our policy ( and the City and State should be wearing masks) is to wear masks beyond our property.

Next, this is the second time this person has quizzed us announced. We have no problem cooperating with the City of Lathrop or Fire dept. WE run a clean ship, pay our permits, abide by the Fire Dept rules and regs and even bid City projects that we still not have got yet.

I guess the question he posed this time he wanted to know if we have anybody living at our yard. The answer is NO! But if my people do not know who they are talking too (because no ID on car or no card presented) they are afraid to give out information in case somebody is posing as a City rep and casing our yard to rip us off when nobody is there.

Again, please understand run a small business here and only want to be treated with respect like any other reputable business. We are not like some of the neighbors that that city along with Mr Hood has run out of the area-thank you for this BTW.

Please feel free to call me for any questions you may have.
