Dear Council Members,

I respectful request an external investigation into the City Managers position and his decision making.

Allowing one person to single handily make decisions without any checks and balance is not a safe practice for the City of Lathrop and its citizens. The City Manager is an employee of the city and is accountable to the citizens. As is each council member. All should be held accountable to the same standards.

It is the City Manager and the Council Members that came before the citizens asking for their support to establish the city's own police department and new here we are not even 2 years with the most recent termination of the Policy Chief. The decision to have him escorted of the premises when he was of not threat to anyone or the community is absolutely disgusting.

No one person should ever be disgraced in that manner unless there was a valid threat. At best he should have been separated with his dignity intact. In my 30 plus career and coming from a law enforcement family this was unfair and unjust. The citizens of Lathrop demand better and answers from the council

Department Heads and others should never be intimidated or in fear of a City Manager. That is of behavior abuse of power and bullying.

Do better Council Members voting will soon be upon us so with silence and no action it does speak volumes.

Respectfully,

Kim Sandoval
