Dear Public Works Department,
I am writing to bring to your attention a concerning issue with the crosswalk signal at the intersection of East Louise Avenue and Golden Valley Parkway.
Recently, the push-button mechanism at this crosswalk was replaced with a new yellow button. Since this change, the crosswalk sign has ceased to function correctly. This malfunction is particularly dangerous as it leaves pedestrians, including children and the elderly, at significant risk when crossing this busy intersection.
Given the heavy traffic in this area, a non-functioning crosswalk signal could easily lead to a serious accident. I urge you to prioritize the repair of this signal to ensure the safety of all pedestrians.
Please let me know if any further information is needed. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to a swift resolution.
