Hello, recently I went to Dell'Osso Family Farm with my family and witnessed very terrifying things when it comes to their animals.
The first concerning thing I saw were the pig races, they're forced to race and if they stop in the middle of the track the "trainer" hits them pretty hard scaring the pig causing visual distress to the animal. Once the races are over they're in these small pens which aren't cleaned hardly ever and are covered in feces. When asking one of the workers about how they get them to race, they told me that they don't feed them all day so that they become food motivated.
Secondly, the other animals that they have aren't being properly cared for either. Their poor animals are in very small enclosures with out proper food or water, and I even witnessed kids smack and rip hair out of the animals. The public isn't being supervised around these animals, which they should be (I work at a zoo and people do really stupid things).
These are just a few things that I've witnessed happen and who knows what else has happened. I'd like the animals to be unharmed, stress free, and most importantly, made sure that they're being cared for properly
