Garbage bins are allowed to be on the curb 24 hours prior to collection day and shall be removed within 24 hours after collection per LMC 8.16.020 A(4). Individual toner cartridges can be dropped off at Office Depot, Office Max and Staples all of which collect spent cartridges for recycling. For business electronics waste recycling services, you can contact CalRecycle or Clean Earth for specialty recycling facilities that can properly dispose of toner cartridges.
