Status Updates
The City of Lathrop has completed the installation of rubberized chip seal along two sections of Harlan Road associated with CIP PS 18-01 Citywide Road Maintenance and Repair Program. This project was funded in part by a rubberized pavement grant from CalRecycle. The rubberized chip seal is made by blending ground tire rubber with asphalt and aggregate chips. The project installed 248,960 square feet of rubberized chip seal which utilized approximately 2,166 waste tires generated in California.
