Public Hearing Notices & Legal Ads

Public hearings may be required by state or local law, i.e. public hearings are required for planning and zoning changes, ordinance adoptions, projects subject to the Subdivision Map Act and, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), etc. Many of these types of hearings require specific noticing requirements; refer to the specific subject in the California Codes. In most cases, public hearings may require publication within one newspaper of general circulation within the jurisdiction that is conducting the proceeding at least 10 days prior to the hearing (GC 6061). For Fiscal Year 2022-2023, the City of Lathrop legal ads are published in the Manteca Bulletin Classified Section.
