MEET THE TEAM

Breann Loughran

Recreation Supervisor

Breann was introduced to Parks and Recreation at the age of three when her mom signed her up for soccer and various dance classes, and continued participating in various sports programs throughout her life. When Breann turned 16, she started working for the YMCA for Youth Sports and their Summer Camp program. From there, she transitioned over to working in After School programs while completing her education at San Jose State University. Breann completed her Bachelors of Science in Communicative Disorders and Sciences; however, she had such a passion working in program development and community engagement that she was drawn back to Recreation, where she became a Program Director for the YMCA of Silicon Valley overseeing nine different Licensed Child Care sites. After moving from the Bay Area, Breann started working with the City of Stockton as the Recreation Coordinator for the Sports and Fields department. She then lateraled over to the City of Lathrop Sports division, where she increased the Youth and Adult Sports offerings and developed and implemented Toddler Programming. Breann transitioned into the Recreation Supervisor position where she currently oversees Sports, Facilities and Seniors. “The most important thing is to try and inspire people so that they can be great in whatever they want to do.” - Kobe Bryant
