Youth Advisory Commission Needs You!

The City of Lathrop encourages teen’s ages 13 to 18 years old
that live in Lathrop to apply for the position of Youth Advisory
Commissioner. Youth Commissioners advise the City Council
on teen issues, teen recreation and leisure programs, and
strategies to better involve the teen community in activities and
programs. The YAC Committee meets 6:00pm every 2nd Monday
of the month.

The Lathrop Parks & Recreation Department is proud to announce some new classes for Fall as well as some oldies!   All classes are based on the calendar month.

Gymnastics: Gymnastics classes are offered in different age divisions on either Tuesdays (evenings) or Saturday (mornings).

Polynesian Dance :  Polynesian Dance classes are offered in 2 ages divisions for Youth and also one Adult Class. Class is on Wednesday evenings.

Karate:  Karate classes are offered in 2 age division (Youth & Adult) on Monday & Thursday evenings.
