Development Plan Applications

The development plan permit is used for establishing permitted uses within the Crossroads Commerce Center under the adopted development agreement with Kearny Ventures, Ltd and subsequent amendments. The development plan permit sets forth the conditions in which a building permit can be obtained under review and approval administratively by the Planning Division.

RESIDENTIAL

Home Occupation Permits

The City Permits under certain conditions, the operation of a home based business in accordance with State Law and the zoning code. The purpose of a home occupation permit application is to gather information necessary for the City to process the application including the notification of surrounding property owners within 300 feet of the subject residence. Interested parties who receive notification from the City have14 days to provide written comments on your request. The City will notify you if there are any comments received from any interested party including neighbors.

Large Family Day Care Home Permit

The City permits, under certain conditions, the operation of a Large Family Day Care Home, as defined by the State Health and Safety Code and the Lathrop Zoning Code. A Large Family Day Care Home is a facility that can accommodate seven (7) to fourteen (14) children, including the number of children living at the residence. The purpose of a Large Family Day Care Home Permit Application is to gather information necessary for the surrounding property owners within 300 feet of the subject residence. Interested parties, who receive notification from the City, have 14 days to provide written comments on your request. The City will notify you If there are any comments received from any other interested party, including neighbors.
