Help Wildlife
With the continued growth in Lathrop City limits, the wild animal
population habitats are being disturbed, such as: coyotes, foxes, hawks, jack rabbits,
snakes, and even rodents such as squirrels, mice, gophers, etc. Understanding their
habits and behaviors will help in dealing with them as they are seen in our City
more frequently. All of these animals are extremely adaptable and eventually they
will move on to find a more suitable living environment.
There are a variety of wild animals that live within Lathrop. Click
here to search for the wildlife that live in your zipcode.
There are numerous resources available to help you learn how
to live with wildlife in your community. You can call your local animal control
agency, go to your nearest library and research specific animals, or search the
internet. Some wildlife links are:

are all about. Understanding their habits and behaviors will help in dealing with
them as they are seen in our City more frequently. Wild animals live in our neighborhoods
and can add peace and beauty to our lives. Left alone and not encouraged, we can
enjoy a peaceful co-existence with them.
