City Council

City Council meetings are held at City Hall the first and third Monday of each month at 7:00 pm. Agendas are available on Thursday at noon before each meeting. The official agenda is posted outside of city hall in a display case, at the Lathrop Post Office, Lathrop Community Center and at the Fire Station. Special meetings are scheduled and posted as needed.

Council meetings are taped and then televised on your local broadcast cable channel 97 at 7:00 PM on Tuesday and Noon on Wednesday following the Council Meeting.

Road Closures

Louise Avenue Road Closures

Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) will be performing work on the railroad crossing located on Louise Avenue near 5th Street starting on June 16, 2010. This work will be completed on June 17, 2010. In order to complete this work, UPRR will completely remove and replace the crossing, and Louise Avenue will be closed to through traffic between McKinley Avenue and 5th Street/Howland Rd. Local businesses east of the railroad tracks will still be accessible from McKinley Ave and west of the tracks will still be accessible from 5th St/Howland Rd. A detour will be set up using Harlan Road south of Louise Ave, D’Arcy Pkwy, Yosemite Ave, and McKinley Ave.

Please also be advised that on June 23, 2010, UPRR will be performing work on the railroad crossing located on Louise Avenue near the eastern City Limit. This work will last one day. In order to complete this work, UPRR will remove and replace parts of the crossing, and Louise Avenue will be closed to through traffic between McKinley Avenue and Airport Rd. Local businesses west of the railroad tracks will still be accessible from McKinley Ave and east of the tracks will still be accessible from Airport Rd. A detour will be set up using Airport Rd, Yosemite Ave, and McKinley Ave.
